Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet

1.5 pounds (680g) sirloin steak, sliced into strips

1 pound (450g) baby potatoes, quartered

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Marinade:

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

In a large bowl, combine the sliced sirloin steak with the soy sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, and crushed red pepper flakes. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the quartered baby potatoes and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the potatoes from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet, add the marinated steak slices. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the steak is browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.

Reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Return the cooked potatoes and steak to the skillet. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Remove from heat, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the skillet, and serve hot.
