A Delectable Recipe for Heavenly White Snack Cake

This cake, with its delicate sweetness and soft, light crumb, is perfect for those who appreciate a subtle treat. Simple to prepare and even easier to love, this snack cake is an excellent choice for tea parties, casual gatherings, or a cozy indulgence at any time of day.

Ingredients:

  • One cup of flour for all purposes
  • One tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Half a cup of softened unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup of sugar, granulated
  • Two big eggs
  • One tsp vanilla essence
  • half a cup of milk

Regarding the freezing:

  • Half a cup of softened unsalted butter
  • Two cups of sugar powder
  • two teaspoons of milk
  • One tsp vanilla essence




Directions:

Get the Pan and Oven Ready:

  1. Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or grease and flour it.

Combine the Dry Ingredients:

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugar:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer for three to four minutes, or until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Add the Vanilla and Eggs:

  1. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla essence.

Mix with Dry Ingredients and Milk:

  1. Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Blend until just combined.

Prepare the Cake:

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and level the top with a spatula.
  2. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Prepare the Frosting:

  1. Beat the butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
  2. Pour in the milk and vanilla essence, using additional sugar or milk as necessary to achieve a smooth, spreadable consistency.

Frost the Cake:

  1. After the cake has completely cooled, evenly coat the top with frosting.
