Caramel Pecan Dream Bars
These Caramel Pecan Dream Bars are truly delicious, and I discovered them thanks to The Recipe Tin Project. They take about five minutes to put in the oven and use mostly simple kitchen ingredients that you can easily have in your pantry. This makes them a quick dessert that you can make at any time. It's difficult not to love a dessert bar that is sticky, sweet, and has a rich toffee taste. This is why Emily decided to write down this recipe. And I'm really happy that she did.
Ingredients
For the Base:
- 1 package of yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup of soft margarine
- 1 egg
For the Filling:
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup of Brickle baking chips
Directions
How to Prepare Caramel Pecan Dream Bars
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, softened margarine, and egg. Mix until well combined, then press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the base.
- Evenly sprinkle the chopped pecans and Brickle baking chips over the base.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares.
- Enjoy your Caramel Pecan Dream Bars!
