Slow Cooker Cheddar Corn with Bacon

Ingredients:
- 4 cups frozen corn (about 20 ounces)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Slow Cooker:
Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter.
Combine Ingredients:
Add the frozen corn, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, butter, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder to the slow cooker. Stir to combine the ingredients.
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 3 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure the cheese and cream cheese melt evenly.
Add Bacon:
About 10 minutes before serving, stir in the crumbled bacon. Continue cooking for the remaining time.
Serve:
Once the corn mixture is hot and creamy, taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
